A new season of compassion — rebuilding homes, restoring hope.
This October, as the world turns its eyes toward change and reflection, World Shelter Alliance launched the “Warm Hearts, Safe Shelters” campaign — an initiative to rebuild temporary homes for displaced children and families in Sudan and Ethiopia following months of drought and internal conflict.
Our teams on the ground worked closely with local partners to construct over 450 safe housing units, deliver food relief packages to 3,000 families, and provide psychological support to children who had lost everything. For many, it was the first warm meal and safe night’s sleep in months.
🤝 A New Investor Steps Forward
We are deeply grateful to Alexander Reyes, a humanitarian investor from Canada, who became one of our leading supporters this season. His vision of building sustainable shelters and restoring dignity to vulnerable families aligns perfectly with our global mission. Alongside him, dozens of returning donors and first-time supporters joined this cause — together raising $289,000 for October’s initiatives.
The warmth of this campaign wasn’t just in bricks and blankets — it was in the hearts of everyone who gave, shared, and volunteered. Every smile built a stronger home than any structure could.
