🌍 Global Corona Relief Project 2020

When the world stood still, compassion kept moving.

The year 2020 will forever be remembered as the year when fear and uncertainty blanketed the globe. Streets once filled with life fell silent, families were separated, and millions faced the unimaginable — hunger, isolation, and the loss of loved ones. Yet, even in the darkest days of the pandemic, humanity refused to surrender its light.

World Shelter Alliance
launched the Global Corona Relief Project to bring immediate aid to the most vulnerable communities affected by the pandemic. From hospitals short of medical supplies to families struggling to eat, our volunteers stood at the frontlines — masked, determined, and driven by love.

πŸš‘ Emergency Aid Across 12 Countries

Within weeks of the first lockdowns, the project reached over 150,000 families across 12 countries — including Italy, India, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela,  Philippines. and most Countries in Africa. the Food packs, medical masks, hygiene kits, and shelter support were delivered under strict safety protocols.

πŸ’° Total Donations Raised: $16 Million

The compassion shown by the world was overwhelming. Through online and direct relief campaigns, $16 million was raised to sustain hospitals, orphanages, and displaced families. Among the contributors were 10 anonymous celebrity donors who chose to give quietly — without seeking recognition, only wishing to heal a hurting world.

Their selfless generosity inspired millions. From quietly funding ventilators in under-equipped hospitals to sponsoring meals for entire refugee camps, their kindness echoed louder than any headline ever could.

πŸ•Š️ Message of Hope

As one volunteer shared: “We couldn’t hug those we helped, but they felt our hearts. The masks may have hidden our smiles — but not our humanity.”

In 2020, when the world paused, love kept working.
